The AirConsol Network is an alliance connected to Combined Logistics
Networks "web of logistics alliances".
It focuses to provide a platform for cooperation with key strategic logistics partners that are strong
in the field of Airfreight. Logistics companies that are signed up in this alliance have:
- Airfreight Consolidations
- Blocked Space Agreements with Carriers
As a requirement the companies are known for their strength in this field and normally have a
focused or exclusive sales and customer service for these requirements. They must be IATA
accredited and have direct dealings with airlines.
The primary objective of this alliance is to be connected with freight forwarders that can answer
complex questions in this field, as well as ultimately negotiate incentive schemes with global air
carriers.

8th annual CLN conference Postponed |
to September in Macao, before The Freight Summit 2010
After having conducted one-on-one discussions with many of the participants, along with further consultation with our local Thai representatives and friends, we have come to the unfortunate decision to cancel our event in Thailand and postpone it to September in Macao. Although we do have the option and possibility of easily shifting our conference to Pattaya, the now heightened uncertainty of the situation in Thailand does not allow us to proceed any further with the event! The CLN network must protect the safety of its members first. The decision has been carefully conducted and sets the security of our members as the priority.
While we understand that this decision causes some inconveniences for members with confirmed flight arrangements, we do not want to jeopardize the safety of our members! You will remember the CLN did consider relocating the event on April 21, at the time when the first conflict broke out. A few days later, on May 4, the Thai government proposed a truce-deal to the red-shirts by proposing to dissolve the government and holding new elections in Nov, at which moment we (and most members) decided to pursue with the event in BKK, in anticipation of the improvement of the overall situation.
Moving forward, the CLN plans to host the exclusive annual event in Macao this September 2010 before The Freight Summit (www.thefreightsummit.com). Details to be published on our website and thru emails soonest.
Once again, we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the postponement of this event. Please await personalized contact from our team to assist you with cancellation or transfer process individually.

CLN's 8th Annual Meeting- Bangkok |
Dear Members & Friends,
Welcome back to Bangkok! As we celebrate our 8th year, we would like to invite you to our annual group meeting to reconnect with each other as we rediscover Bangkok, known to the Thais as "City of Angels".
As a family of quality freight forwarders, Combined Logistics Networks have witnessed the world economy going through a severe recession marked by financial turmoil, large-scale destruction of wealth, and declines in industrial production and global trade. Also as a network, we have stood together and managed the risks posted to the freight forwarding industry and have continued to expand business opportunities amongst ourselves despite the economic turmoil.
For 2010, as we start to recover, we must build strong foundations for sustained and broad-based growth in a globalized world. It is very important that we nurture our relationship and extend a helping hand with each other as we climb the global ladder. In this regard, a very intimate conference which is open to members only and a few selected freight forwarders from the networks' open territories will be held for the networks at Shangri-la Hotel Bangkok on May 25-30, 2010 to discuss current and future trade between members within a secured financial environment.
The Bangkok conference will focus on your favorite face-to-face meetings to ensure that members of our group meet to explore areas of new business to mutual benefit.
For more information, visit the conference website: www.combinedlogisticsnetworks.com/bangkokmeeting or email us at bangkokmeeting@combinedlogisticsnetworks.com.
To register, please visit CLN BKK Meeting website.
See you in Bangkok!

Free Track and Trace System with AirConsol |
To achieve ACN's goal to provide all members the capability to communicate and process orders under 1 communications and track and trace software, Combined Logistics Networks signed off a service level agreement with a software company based in Australia named Pangaea effective April 1, 2006.
This will bring us in par with the capabilities of global outfits that are currently miles ahead of us in the field of IT, and have eaten successfully into the independent forwarders market successfully. read more |
